How we work

Four transparent steps, from first call to filed return.

Every engagement begins with a written scope and fixed fee. Every outgoing filing is reviewed and signed off by a CPA.

  1. 01

    Initial call

A complimentary 30-minute call to understand your situation, residency and goals. After the call we confirm whether we can help and outline the likely scope of work.

  2. 02

    Engagement & fee

We issue a written Engagement Letter that sets out the exact scope and a fixed fee. The cost is agreed before work starts — no surprises.

  3. 03

    Document collection & drafting

Documents are received through a secure client portal. AI-assisted tools support initial organization and drafting; a CPA reviews every filing before it leaves the firm.

  4. 04

    Filing & follow-up

On completion we send you confirmation and proof of filing. We assist with any follow-on tax agency correspondence and send advance reminders for annual deadlines.

Practice principles

Three principles, consistently held.

01

Every conclusion cited

We trace each tax position to a statute, regulation or case — no unsupported guesses.

02

Both sides of the border

Canadian and U.S. tax implications are always considered together; optimising one side alone creates exposure on the other.

03

Compliance first

Sustained compliance is the best tax plan. Any efficiency measure is assessed against disclosure risk before it is recommended.
